Translation, Ninomiya Kazunari, 2016 flashback

We had Arena Tour and now we are in the middle of Dome Tour, so I can say that the five of us gathered a lot in 2016. Our fans, from the various places, have been attending Arashi’s concert for the whole nine years and we thought it was the time for us to come to their place instead. That was how the Arena Tour concept began. We went to the new places with different scenery and it was so fun. “The local people are attending our concert’, we acknowledged, while standing on the stage. We feel it during Dome Tour as well, wherever it is, we are grateful for the fans who came to watch our concert.

I don’t think that making everyone happy is outrageous thing. We just want to enjoy it as much as we can, I think that is the most important of all. “We want to bring the happy feeling to the fans”, this is our motto for every concert we have been holding until now. On the opposite, I’m happy to see our fans’ reaction towards the songs we sing (laugh). They are so excited when we sing the songs from the album.

I didn’t do something new in 2016. But I met new people; one of them was Yojiro Takita (the director of the Last Recipe). I have been acting for a long time, even before debuting as Arashi and receiving Japan Academy Awards didn’t mean that I have to change. But I will be very grateful if it can give the benefit to the movie I acted for. Movies and songs are something which related to people’s everyday life; something we look forward to, so I think the power of entertainment is great.

I really don’t have something to point out, I don’t care of what is happening in the world and they don’t bother me anyway. I wear various fashionable clothes in ‘Nino san’ and ‘VS Arashi’ but I wear them out of my willingness (laugh). My private clothes are the items I couldn’t be proud of and I am sure I will not change forever. It’s similar to the same game I’ve playing for years and I never get bored. I can say that everyone gets bored with game and fashion too soon (laugh).

Work is the only thing I have in my head and there are many things I must do. So, I have to be healthy in order to do my work properly. It will be great to target a great health in 2017 so I can work the same way from now on.
