My Butler is &*^%$# (one shot)
Title : My Butler is &*^%$#
Pairing : Sakumiya
Rating : PG
Length : one shot
Genre : Romance all the time
Disclaimer : I lend their name for the characters in this fic
Summary : It had been three months since his dad hired Sho as Kazu’s butler and his presence was more like a problem than a solution for Kazu.
Note : It’s a kind of continuation from one shot ‘My Super Stupid Dad’ which I wrote in 2014.
Warning : Bad English
"Look, it's out of my control that I got a bad mark on math, okay?"
Kazu argued his dad whose brow lifted in disbelief when he received the report from school for the final semester test. Kazu had never been good at math ever since and the intense course he attended with Jun gave him no effect. On the opposite, he felt that he had become more stupid by attending such course.
His dad inhaled deeply and put the report on the table. He looked at Kazu with a serious gaze that Kazu didn't like.
"It means no summer holiday,” his dad proclaimed. His tone was final as if announcing the final decision in court. Kazu needed a few seconds to digest what his Dad said.
"Sorry, Dad, what did you say?"
"No summer holiday," his dad repeated clearly.
Kazu’s Dad, Ohno Satoshi was a famous painter and the owner of a gallery. He was short, a little bit tanned and skinny, but the handsomeness from his youth still remained. He raised Kazu by himself and he was a totally over-protective father. He was usually kind and full of smile, except for the day like today when Kazu came home with the test result from school.
Ohno had hired a butler to keep an eye on Kazu all the time. The butler was a kind of Kazu’s 17th birthday because he always complained about two middle aged men who guarded him all this time (Sakamoto and Nagano). Kazu thought that by hiring a butler, his dad’s protective mission would loosen a bit – now he knew that was totally wrong.
The butler, Sakurai Sho was a handsome man or like Kazu bragged to his friends at school, 'a super good looking butler'. But, there was a little problem with Sho (or maybe not too little).
Kazu had a crush on him and it was obvious. On the other hand, Sho seemed not to notice it or pretended that he didn't notice. He still acted as the extension of his Dad’s hand and it was almost impossible to ignore his dad's stupid rules now.
Sho's ignorance had turned Kazu desperate, he sometimes wished that he liked Aiba instead of Sho. His best friend, Jun had introduced him to Aiba, a boy from the other school. Their first encounter didn't turn out as it should be because Sho was with Kazu all the time. However, Kazu and Aiba had met a few times after that and got along well with each other. The only thing with Aiba was, he was amazing as a friend, but not as a lover.
"I have planned my summer holiday with Jun," Kazu pouted, avoiding his dad's gaze.
"Then cancel it, you can't enter a good university if you don't study hard for the next semester".
"No way," Kazu frowned deeply.
"It's more 'no way' for me to see this report," his dad waved the paper in front of his nose.
"I don't mind entering the random university, though."
"It doesn't mean you can do as you wish, young man," his dad said with the final tone. "You'll study math daily with Sho kun, two hours a day and no such pleasure like a holiday. If Jun kun wants to join you, it will be even greater."
Kazu opened his mouth to speak his protests, but nothing came out. This was probably the most stupid decision of all stupid things his dad had forced into Kazu's life. Studying was the last thing he wanted to do during summer holiday; moreover, if he had to stay with Sho who acted nearly like a robot these days.
"Fine!" he answered. He turned around and headed the veranda which faced the backyard, clutching the final report tightly in his fist. He had left his comics and books scattered on the lazy chair and had no intention to take care of them. He slumped on the floor and crossed his hands in front his chest, grumbling about his dad.
The first thing Kazu did was sending Jun a message, explaining that their summer holiday plan was just a vanished dream. Jun suggested that they could escape together without his dad's knowledge, but it was impossible and even if Kazu succeed in escaping, he didn't dare to imagine what would welcome him at home.
"Kazunari sama, the dinner is ready," Sho said, approaching Kazu. The man wore a hakama today (seriously, a hakama?). Kazu tried hard not to comment on the man’s outfit; he turned his gaze to his phone and saw an immediate response from Jun.
"I don't need any dinner,” Kazu mumbled.
"Should I serve the dinner in your room if you don't want to join your father?"
"No," Kazu shook his head. "Did you overhear our arguing?" he asked the butler suspiciously.
"Yes, I am sorry," Sho admitted.
Kazu sighed deeply and prevented himself at his best not to say harsh words to this man. He turned his gaze away and ignored Sho who was still standing beyond the door. It had been three months since Sho worked for his dad as Kazu's butler. Kazu was angry that Sho ignored him all the time. Okay, he kept a good eye on Kazu in term of work, but nothing more. Kazu even saved his virginity for Sho, but he felt so stupid now. He should have done that with one of Jun's random partners at random love hotel.
Jun didn't force him anymore to join his Saturday night party because Sho was always there to make sure Kazu would be back at home on time. Kazu didn't know what kind of agreement sho had with his dad, but perhaps it was more serious than what Kazu thought.
"You have to eat something, Kazunari sama."
"Don't call me with that stupid honorific name."
Sho's jaw hardened as if he tried hard not to laugh.
"You can't study well if you don't eat," Sho said.
"Alright, fine, I'll have dinner. Happy?" Kazu glared at the butler whose expression didn't change. "And I'll join my beloved father."
"That is great," Sho said. The butler shifted closer and began collecting the scattered comics and books on the lazy chair.
Kazu rose off of the floor and headed towards the dining.room. He must have tricked by his eyes when he felt that he saw a smile on Sho's lips.

"I won't go without you," Jun said, looking disappointed when they met at the cafe near Ohno's gallery. He let Kazu go out, only if the distance of 2 km - what kind of stupid rule was that for a 17 year-old-boy?
"Seriously, Kaz, we can just run away from home. You can bring your butler to help you study math," Jun said as if deceiving his dad was that easy.
"You don't know my dad, J. He would do anything to make me stay and study, study and study," Kazu rolled his eyes.
Jun pouted slightly, sipping his orange juice and glancing at his watch. "What if we go camping?"
"My Dad said..."
"We can go camping at the nearest park. Your butler can keep an eye on you, your dad doesn't need to worry and we can play during your study break, isn't that perfect."
"Don't tell me that you want to do something other than just camping,” Kazu said suspiciously.
"Well," Jun shrugged. "I just want you to have fun without deceiving your father."
"Will Aiba san come?" Kazu asked, avoiding Jun’s gaze on purpose.
"Why did you ask?"
"Nothing," Kazu shook his head. "I’m kind of enjoying his presence."
"Do you like him?" Jun asked, grinning at him.
Kazu looked at Sho who waited three tables away and said, "Er, I don't know."
There was no point of waiting for Sho to notice his feeling. In that case, why wouldn't he try to like somebody else? Besides, Aiba was also good looking, kind hearted and had a great smile.
'I'll talk to my Dad,” Kazu lazily mumbled.
"Great. I'll ask Aiba kun to join us. He said that he has no plan during the summer holiday, so I'm sure he would gladly come."
Kazu nodded. He didn't particularly like outside activities, but he would take every chance if it meant he didn't need to see his dad all the time whose face was nearly like the angry Noh mask these past three days. The only problem was how to shove Sho away.
The butler was sipping his tea and looked to another direction, but Kazu knew his eyes never left him. It was weird to have somebody as handsome as Sho watched over him all the time, but it was forbidden to like him. Kazu wished he could meet Sho in a completely different situation where they would have a crush on each other. But, here they were, Kazu as a son of a super protective artist and Sho as a smart butler.
He turned his gaze to Jun. Sometimes, Kazu was jealous of Jun. His parents never forced him to stay under their protection 24/7. His dad didn't hire a butler to watch over him as if Tokyo was a kind of warzone.
"I have to go back," Kazu glanced at his watch. "My Dad is seriously an idiot recently."
“Maybe he's a little bit stress from the upcoming exhibition," Jun commented.
"I don't know," Kazu said, rising from his seat. "Maybe I stress him too."
"He loves you too much," Jun patted his shoulder. "That's it."
They walked together towards the exit; Sho followed behind them.
"I'll prepare the car, Kazunari sama,” Sho said.
"I'll walk," Kazu answered. "Would you take Jun kun home instead?"
"My duty is to keep an eye on you. I can't leave you alone."
Jun grinned amusedly as he heard what Sho said. He circled his right hand around Kazu's shoulder and dragged him a little bit further from Sho.
"I can go home by bus, Kazunari sama. See you on weekend."
“Don’t ‘Kazunari-sama’ me or I’ll share all of your nude photos to the world,” Kazu hissed.
“Go ahead, I don’t mind.”
Kazu laughed and waved good bye to his friend with a heavy heart. He didn’t want to go home and found his dad with a frowning face in front of his gallery. Maybe Jun was right that his dad was too stressed from the upcoming exhibition and he had a son who always worried him.
“Let’s go home, Sho kun,” he said to Sho who extended him a hand when they climbed down the stairs in front of the café.
***
It was unexpected that Ohno gave Kazu permission to go for camping with Jun and Aiba on weekend, but of course with terms and conditions which Kazu only half-listened. Sho was coming with him and would stay to make sure that Kazu did his two-hours-a-day-study. With many grumblings and protests; Kazu finally finished packing his belongings into a backpack.
“The camping site is quite nearby, you can go back home anytime you want,” Jun commented when he saw Kazu’s luggage.
“My dad probably changes his mind if I go back,” Kazu hissed. “He’s in a good mood today, so let’s just take advantage of it.”
The camping site was located rather far, but Kazu pretended not to notice it. Jun was the one who drove as he had just gotten a driving license a month before. Sho drove another car behind them, following their route with appropriate speed, even though Kazu wished the butler would lose them on their way.
Jun and Aiba talked along the way; their topic was all about the recent fashion - the conversation that Kazu couldn't follow. He slid out his phone and played the game; sometimes he would check Sho whether he was still behind them. His thought went to the final test result. None of his friends were effected by the bad mark, they still hang out (look at Jun and Aiba). Kazu looked at his bag which lay beside him, full of books that he had to study.
He never asked Sho about his high school era. What kind of subject he hated the most, what kind of teacher he liked and what kind of love story he had back then. The thoughts amused him. Kazu never experienced any love story during his almost 18 years life. He pouted; Sho wasn't a high school student, he wouldn't want to have a stupid love relationship with someone way younger than him, particularly someone like Kazu whose life was all in his dad’s command.
"Kazu kun, maybe we can go shopping together sometimes," Aiba said out of the blue, waking Kazu up from his run of thoughts.
"Err, yeah, sure, why not," Kazu answered confusedly.
The digital clock on Jun’s dashboard showed 11.30 am when they reached the camping site. They got off the car and shouldered their backpacks towards the open space in the middle of the park. Someone had built the tent for them so all they needed to do was cooking lunch.
Kazu thought of Sho as he saw the single tent; where would the butler sleep if they only got one tent. The tent was rather small which was impossible to occupy the four of them. He looked behind, spotting Sho who followed them silently.
“Can you tell your butler to go home?” Jun asked him.
“What if you tell him by yourself,” Kazu answered, giving Jun a disbelief look.
“I feel discomfort if he’s around all the time,” Jun said.
“I can do nothing or my dad will take me home immediately if he knows that Sho isn’t near me,” Kazu replied, shaking his head in agony.
“Seriously, Kaz, your dad is such paranoia.”
“I know,” Kazu shrugged and followed Aiba towards the tent to put their belongings.
It was Kazu’s first time to camp, so he had no idea what to do. Jun mumbled that he would prepare lunch for them meanwhile Aiba would get some water from the nearest river. With nothing to do, Kazu sat down on the wooden bench near the tent and started studying. He could see Sho’s figure from where he was sitting, the butler was also reading a thick book, not too far from Kazu but not too close either.
***
The camping wasn’t particularly fun and what Kazu really wanted to do the next morning was enjoying morning tea and reading comics on his lazy chair at home, but of course, he didn’t say it out loud to Jun. On the contrary, Jun and Aiba seemed to enjoy the camping to the fullest. They went together to the river, ate a lot of water melon, looked for fire fly and talked all the time which made Kazu feel that his presence wasn’t really needed.
He stayed in the tent and read until Sho invited him to go for a little walk. Sho never initiated something up until now – it surprised Kazu – but he nodded and followed the Butler's steps to the path with the line of trees on each side.
“You look bored,” Sho said.
“I’m bored,” Kazu admitted. “But it seems that Jun and Aiba kun are having fun.”
“Why don’t you join them?” Sho asked.
“I think I can’t catch up their talk,” Kazu replied, stopping in front of a big tree and leaned there. “Sho kun, aren’t you bored of your job as my butler? I mean…you could get a better job,” Kazu’s heart fluttered as he looked at Sho in the eye. He imagined the comical things all of a sudden since their height difference was perfect for a ‘kabe-don’ scene.
“Every job is unique,” Sho answered. “Keeping an eye on you is kind of interesting,” the man grinned at Kazu.
Kazu averted his gaze away towards the trees around them; it was hard not to blush when Sho was this close. The last time they touched was when Kazu got high fever; Sho carried him in princess-style to his dad’s working veranda. Kazu had imagined sweet kisses from Sho ever since, but the butler seemed not to put a liking on him.
“Your father loves you too much, Kazu kun,” Sho said as if it could justify everything. “That’s why he wants to keep you safe all the time.”
“I know, I’ve heard it like a hundred times already,” Kazu shrugged. “He even forbids me to date, leaving me to stay virgin until now…oops, I mean…er-,” Kazu bit his lower lip. He didn’t mean to talk about this matter with Sho.
“You’re cute,” Sho said.
That wasn’t the answer he expected, he simply didn’t know how to response.
“May I ask something?” Kazu dared himself to ask.
“Sure, what is it?”
“When did you have sex for the first time and what it feels like?”
Sho needed a couple of seconds as he heard Kazu’s question, then he chuckled.
“I forgot when my first time was,” Sho smiled amusedly. “I can’t describe how it feels by words unless you experience it by yourself and I think it’s not the topic I want to discuss with my boss’ son.”
Kazu could see that Sho’s face had turned pink and he liked it; at least Sho showed his side as a normal human being instead of a super cool butler.
“There’s a dry leaf on your hair,” Sho said, approaching Kazu to take that leaf away, but his movement halted as Kazu tiptoed and planted a short kiss on his lips. It happened quickly; just mere seconds and Kazu knew he had just put himself up into a trouble.
“I’m sorry, Sho kun, I didn’t mean to, I’m so sorry,” Kazu muttered confusedly, blaming himself that he couldn’t stand from kissing Sho’s plump lips.
The butler stayed still; his hand moved from Kazu’s hair to his cheek and down towards his chin. “It’s wrong to kiss your butler, Kazunari sama,” he whispered, leaning closer to Kazu.
“It’s wrong to kiss your boss’ son,” Kazu whispered back, not mentioning that his lips were dry and his heart beat wildly inside his ribs. Sho kissed him for real this time; it was the first kiss that Kazu had been waiting for. They were in the middle of nature, all alone and the only witnesses were the birds on the trees and the soft breeze. Kazu wanted to stay like this forever; tasting Sho’s lips for as long as he could.
Kazu felt his body was burning from nervousness and when Sho pulled away, he couldn’t look at the butler in the eye.
“That was…” Kazu mumbled.
“The most innocent kiss with the cutest person I’ve ever met,” Sho finished his sentence.
“Do you think I’m cute?”
“Of course. Since the first time I saw you with your messy hair in too-big pajamas.”
Kazu smiled shyly, remembering how he and Sho met that morning. He was ready to snap at his dad back then for leaving him under Nagano and Sakamoto guard all time.
“Sho kun, can we go home earlier?”
“How about your friends?”
“They have each other,” Kazu shrugged.
“Like you wish, Kazunari sama,” Sho bowed before him and grabbed his hand, led the way back to the tent. He helped Kazu with his belongings and carried it on his back towards the car. Kazu left a little note on the tent, explaining to Jun and Aiba that he had something urgent to do at home.
He followed Sho’s steps and insisted on sitting in the front seat, regardless that Sho denied the idea because it was an improver.
“I won’t get in if you don’t let me sit in the front seat,” Kazu said, folding his arms in front of his chest.
“You’re such a hard-headed 17-year-old,” Sho shook his head but opening the front door for him.
They left the camping site; driving back to the center of the city. Kazu glanced at the math book on the backseat and thought that he wouldn’t mind studying with Sho from now on if it meant he could spend the whole day with the butler. The bad mark suddenly turned out not so bad and he smiled at himself only by imagining it.
“Kazunari sama, would you like me to accompany you for a date?”
Kazu chuckled. “Yes, please.”
