Concubines part 3

“Matsumoto-jun sama, usually you don’t do something like this”, one of Jun’s loyal servant questioning so curiously, why Jun is so interested in Nino.

“He fell in love”, Jun answered, he could see the desire in Nino’s eyes, when Ohno looked through his eyes. He wanted to know how far Nino will go to get Ohno’s attention.

“Ohno-sama can’t give his attention just like that, he was a cold person, until he found that I love him for real”, Jun took a deep breath, he wiped his left arm, the big stretched there, when Ohno almost killed him with his sword.

The reason why Ohno didn’t touch the other concubines is because they don’t love him as a person but only respect him as a king, he didn’t find any pleasure in it. When Jun came to the palace for the first time and met Ohno he was treated the same, but Jun wanted to prove that he loves Ohno for real and as a person, it was not easy, Ohno was cold like an ice berg and didn’t think twice to kill. Jun tried to show kindness and love to the king, but at first Ohno didn’t believe him, considered he was the same like the other concubines, and he ended up bleeding when Ohno swung the sword to him and he didn’t avoid it. Since then Ohno’s heart melted little by little and realize that Jun loves him for real and he loves Jun back, treat him so much better and always keep Jun around.

“I wanted to give him a chance”, Jun sighed, if Nino can catch Ohno’s attention, then it will be good, Jun can see Nino’s heart is pure, and he has a reason why he wanted Nino to replace him, he turned his head to his servant, “I don’t know how long this disease will take over my body, but before I die I must try my best to keep Ohno-sama happy”.

“Why didn’t you tell Ohno-sama about it”, his servant is the only one person in this world, who knew about Jun’s disease.

“It will be better if he doesn’t know, he has so many things to think about”, Jun took his lute and stood up, “Let’s go”, he walked out, followed by his servant.

Nino can feel his feet trembled when he entered the king’s room, it was the large and a comfort room, he saw the scout man who guided him the day before.

“Good evening Ninomiya san”, the man smiled, but Nino only grinned weakly.

“Good evening, Sakurai san”, Nino replied , he stepped inside and saw Jun already there, looks so handsome like always, but Nino saw his face is a little bit pale, but Jun seems didn’t notice his presence, he keeps on writing something on the paper in front of him.  Nino wanted to greet him, but no word split out from his mouth. He sat in the opposite place from Jun, he was terribly nervous, Ohno’s face popped into his head, and he can’t wait to see the king again. Even he’s so afraid of Jun right now, but his desire to see Ohno again lose everything.

“Your Majesty”, Nino heard Sakurai’s voice outside and he knew that the king has come. When Ohno stepped in, Jun stood up immediately, and he bowed, “Ohno-sama, otsukare”.

Nino followed, he also bowed like Jun, but he said nothing, he has no idea what to say.

“I’m glad to see you here, waiting for me, Jun”, Nino heard Ohno’s soft voice, saying those words to Jun, and he must confess, he was jealous.

“I’m so happy to hear that”, Jun took Ohno’s hand and guided the king to sit down together.

“I invited Nino-san here for you”.

Ohno just realized there’s another person in the room and he stared to Nino who didn’t dare to lift up his head.

“Nino-san, are you mute? Greet your king”, Jun ordered, and Nino tried hard to speak clearly.

“Your Majesty, I h-hope I will be able to perform my little ability in music to relax you from your tiring day”, Nino spoke his mind out, and he was glad he didn’t slip the words.

“You may start”, Jun saw Ohno’s face, looked a bit confused but nodded. Nino sat and begin to play his lute, it heard so nice and relaxing, Ohno paid attention, while drinking his tea, and when Nino finished, he clapped his hands.

“You’re great!”, Ohno smiled to Nino who can feel his blood rushed, it was the first time he saw Ohno’s smiling face.

“T-thank you Your Majesty”, his face blushed, and he saw Jun approached.

“Ohno-sama already show you his kindness, you must thank him”, Jun gave a death glare to Nino, who down on his knees and bowed deeply to the king.

“I think Ohno-sama must be relax now?”, Jun asked, Ohno turned his head to see Jun’s face and smiled.

“I want to hear Jun’s music too”, Ohno put his hand to Jun’s fingers which makes Nino felt abandoned, and he realized how much Ohno loves Jun by looking at the way Ohno touched Jun.

“You’re tired my Lord, you better take a rest now, Nino-san will serve you tonight”.

Ohno was shocked, he looked at Jun’s face, try to find out why, Jun never did something like this before, suggesting him to sleep with another concubines.

“I need jun tonight”, Ohno muttered.

Nino’s heart sank, it’s useless, the king only loves Jun, and will never consider him.

“You own me all night, but you should try something new”, Jun stood up and he came closer to Nino, “Remember what I told you yesterday”, he smirked badly and left the room. Nino didn’t know what to do, Jun was lie to him about the competition, he even didn’t touch his lute and forced him to the king, who seems isn’t interested in him at all.

“Ohno-sama…”

Ohno didn’t say anything, he moved closer to Nino and lifted the latter’s face, for a long minute he just stared to Nino’s eyes, like studying him.

“What’s your given name?”, suddenly Ohno asked, without moving his head, Nino only heard cold tone on King’s voice, totally different with the way he talked to Jun.

“I am Kazunari”, Nino answered, he wished he could run away now, suddenly he’s afraid of this man.

“Do you like me?”, Ohno pulled Nino closer, put his arms around Nino’s back.

“Y-yes my Lord”, Nino slipped his tongue, he thinks he will die, since his heart beat like crazy.

“I don’t sleep with a person who only see me as a king”, Ohno continued, “You must be scared of me, don’t you?”.

Nino couldn’t control his heart beat, Ohno guessed it right, he was scared and nervous.

“I will not force you”, Ohno released his hug and he can see how pale Nino was.

“Ohno-sama”, Nino tried his best to speak properly, “Can I fall in love with you? Even though I knew there’s only Jun-sama in your heart”, Nino stares to the floor, afraid to see Ohno’s reaction.

Ohno’s fingers run to Nino’s cheek, down to his lips, and before Nino knows it, Ohno kissed him deeply, but Ohno ended it as fast as he started it, “I’m sorry I can’t”, Ohno’s face looked so tired and the king shook his head.

“You may return to your chamber, Kazunari”, Ohno pulled himself away from Nino and he walked to the door, without saying anything, then he disappeared. Nino was still staring to the place where Ohno was, unexpectedly the tears flow on his cheeks, he let it, wished that he never agreed Jun’s invitation.

“Ninomiya san”.

Nino turned his head and saw Sakurai in front of him, he wiped his tears and hide his face so Sakurai will not see it.

“You can lay your head on me”, Sakurai said with shaking voice, he felt sorry for the young man who looks terribly sad.

Nino leaned his head to Sakurai’s chest, didn’t care that he’s not supposed to do this, it was forbidden for any concubines to touch other men than their king, oppositely he expected someone will find him, so the king will kill him, so he doesn’t need to feel any more faint.

“Sakurai san, can you kiss me?”, Nino whispered, he needs warmth from someone tonight, Sakurai’s eyes widened in shock and when Nino pulled his head down, he can’t move, all he knows was his lips were attached to Nino’s thin lips and soon the kiss become so lust and passionate.

Nino shut his eyes, enjoyed every little touch from the guardian, he doesn’t care whether it’s right or wrong, he just want to be touched and forget about the king he fell in love with.

Nino returned to his chamber late at night, and saw Aiba was snoring on the chair, waiting for him.

“Aiba san”, he shook Aiba’s shoulder to wake him up and the latter opened his eyes confusingly.

“Nino san, how was it?”.

Nino grinned and said nothing; at least he had done it for the first time in his life, and not with the handsome king.

“I’m so tired Aiba san, I need to sleep now, you too, why are you waiting for me?”, Nino tried to avoid Aiba’s eyes while he talking.

“I was worry about you and I am afraid Jun-sama…”.

“There’s nothing happened, everything is alright”, Nino walked to his bed room, “Good night Aiba san”, he closed the door and throw his body to the bed, felt so dirty that he had been touched by king’s guardian. He shivers, what if Jun knows about it, maybe he will kill him immediately without hearing any explanation, but everything had happened, he can’t turn back the time, he shut his eyes, hope all of these things are only dream.
