Pirates of the Heart final

Sho headed the main hall quickly, Ohno’s father told him to go there and when he arrives he saw another old man already there and having a serious talk with Ohno’s senior.

“Sho kun come here.” Ohno’s father called him and Sho approached, he still keep his  curious gaze to the other old man but didn’t ask anything.

“Ohno san like what I said to you before, I’m so sorry about my son.” The other guy in the room spoke and for the first time, his voice reminded Sho of his prisoner’s. Sho looks even more curious and give a questioning stare to Ohno’s father,

“Sorry I forgot to introduce you, this is Minister Matsumoto, he is here for his errr … son.” The head of Ohno’s household seems to lost his voice and confident.

“I want to apologize if my son had made big trouble for you all, he always against what I want him to do.” The guest bowed a little before continuing

“I am glad one of my men came to this region and found the picture which look like him,” Matsumoto turned his head to Ohno’s father, “He escaped from me because I want him to marry someone he didn’t like and since then I couldn’t find him everywhere, I must thank you all for bringing him back to me.”

Sho stared blankly to elder Ohno’s and he knew from his gesture that the older man also feel what he feels right now. Satoshi and Jun share the same path and it’s like a fate so they met each other. The guard suddenly hated himself as he is the one who ruin it, want to make Ohno as his own without thinking of the other’s feeling. He unreasonably hated Jun for making Ohno fell in love with the pirate. But after he heard the explanation from Jun’s father, he realizes he must let Ohno go. Slowly, he walked to Jun’s father and knelt down.

“Matsumoto san, I am the one who must be blamed here, I will take the responsibility, let me take you to your son.”

Jun winced as he opened his eyes and felt the great pain on his chest, no doubt that his ribs were broken. He couldn’t see the surrounding area clearly, but he heard whispered conversation, the voices sounds familiar but distanced to him, he didn’t know what they are talking about. He felt warm and cozy bed under him, his mind worked a little, it means he is no longer in prison, but why? What happened? He tried to focus his sight and saw three men shadows standing near the window and another one sitting on his bed stared at him seriously. Jun wanted to move but his head spinning around and a panic voice welcomed him.

“Jun, are you okay? Don’t move, two of your ribs are broken, do you need anything?.”

Jun shut his eyes to ease the pain but it refused to reduce the torture on his body.

“Satoshi.” he called the first name appeared inside his head and in instant, his hand felt a touch, very much gentle and soft, his brain recognize it automatically.

“I’m here.” A clear voice heard and Jun knew he is not imagined it earlier.

Jun opened his eyes again and this time he can see the man clearer, he formed a smile on his lips, felt relieve that Ohno is finally there with him.

The three shadows approached the bed from their place near the window and Jun found his best friend, Aiba, his hand wrapped with the bandages and his face is a little bruised but he grinned to Jun. The other two are much older than them, Jun so sure one of them is Ohno’s father because the last one, even if Jun can’t believe his eyes, is his own father.

“Jun.” he heard his father’s voice after a very long time, for him the voice sounds like a stranger, Jun felt his father’s finger touched his face.

“You’re a bad kid, Jun, I never thought you would have a gut to be a pirate, but because of that I found you.”

Jun forced a smile, didn’t know how to react, he wanted to scream an apology for what he had done, but all he can say was “I’m sorry.”

His father nodded understandingly and he turned his gaze to young Ohno and patted his shoulder.

“I’ll leave him to you, please take him home after he is fully recovered.” Jun’s father smiled to the younger man.

“Yes Matsumoto san, I’ll definitely take him home.” Ohno stared to Jun’s face and exchange smile, knowing that everything is going to be okay now.

“Take a good care of him, Satoshi.” now it’s Ohno’s father who spoke to his son, “You’ve found the man for your life on your own.” the older man stroked Ohno’s arm softly and those two elder walked out, leaving their son inside.

“I think I will visit Nino now, his condition is getting better.” Aiba found an excuse, he knew how badly the couple need to cached up on what they missed. He waved them good bye and he also disappeared.

Leaved alone, now Jun can freely locked his gaze to Ohno, “It’s really hard to get you, you know.” Jun said and saw the red color spread into Ohno’s chubby cheeks.

“Sorry for that, but I won’t run away now.” Ohno replied and squished Jun’s hand, felt so relieve that they will be together from now on, nothing will separate them anymore.

When Aiba entered the room, Nino was sitting on his bed and drank his medicine, Aiba coughed to announce his appearance and the other turned his head to see who is coming.

“Aiba san.” Nino called, a smile rose on his lips when he saw the taller man walked to him.

“I am glad that you’re finally okay.” Aiba pulled a chair and sits close to Nino, his eyes travelled all over Nino’s body to assure him that the shorter man is completely alright.

“Me too, I thought they already hanged you on the gallows.” Nino saw the bandage on Aiba’s hand and asked curiously, “Are you hurt badly.”

“Nope, it’s just a little wound, your friend likes to have a lot of fun.”

Nino knew Aiba talked about Sho, he sighed and get down from the bed.

“Wait, where are you going?” Aiba react quickly and held Nino’s wrist, worried that the man is still very weak.

“Accompany me outside, I get so bored here.” The shorter whined relieve Aiba, he grinned when Nino leaned to him, it reminds him of the first time he and Jun met Nino on the street, where Nino was hardly drunk and didn’t recognize them.

“I can lift you if you’re not strong enough.” Aiba gave his hand to Nino, but the other smirked and shook his head.

“Don’t be stupid, your hand is hurt, I’m not that weak, and since when you become so much nice to me? I thought you hated me.” Nino stared unbelievably, now he just realizes the taller used to be his enemy, but now offering to help him.

Aiba stopped his step, he recalled his memories and found the day when he saw Nino at the first time, it was when he saved Jun from Nino.

“Dunno, seems I have the need to be nice to you since the first time I saw you.” Aiba answered, he realized how red is his face now after he said those words to Nino, but he blew a relieve breath that he finally can say what he feels to the shorter knight.

Hearing that, Nino just smiled and continuing his steps.

“Well, at least I am not the only one who act stupid.” he left Aiba behind. The taller man chuckled and chase after Nino, he then circling his arm around Nino’s shoulder once he caught up with the brat.

“Hei, who said you can hold me like that?.” Nino pretended to snap.

“Your gesture did.” Aiba held the shorter a little bit tighter and leaned his head to Nino, feel a thousand butterflies are flying inside his heart.

When Jun was fully recovered, he decided to sail back to his home town and Ohno has no hesitation to join him. His father finally let him go for his happiness and told him to visit some times. 

Meanwhile Aiba decided to stay with Nino, they train their selves so hard in sword battle and as he wished, he and Nino had one by one battle and Aiba still can’t defeat Nino.

Sho started his new life, becoming a knight leader in his region, he is now understand and assuring himself that Ohno’s happiness is the most important, so he should let him go. But he wasn’t there to say good-bye to Ohno, when the small guy and Jun departed. He force himself in training in archery, horse riding, sword battle, anything, that can distracted his mind from Ohno and chase his target to become the greatest soldier.
