CHAPTER 1
It was late at night, when Jun finally return to his room, he lets the cold wind hit his face, let the rain wetting his head, let his tears streamed down through his cheeks. The room was dark, nobody’s inside, Ohno wasn’t there, he has to manage many things at the other places, perhaps including the matter of their preparation to move from this city to another town, where Ohno would work. Jun sighed, he wiped his wet face with the towel and flopped at the nearest chair. It’s a gloomy day, as always since that day.
He didn’t turn on the light, too lazy to change his wet clothes. He fought again this morning with Ohno, too much fight lately, more than blaming Ohno, Jun blamed himself for being so weak and lonely and felt that Ohno’s presence wasn’t enough. When Ohno said that they have to move to another town, he argued about it for no reason. It ended with a fight as well. Jun didn’t know what happened to him, he loves Ohno so much, but he felt that the other doesn’t love him in the same portion or maybe it reduced each day, since that accident.
Ohno had said for uncountable times that the accident wasn’t Jun’s fault, nobody to be blamed. The accident which took their daughter’s live away. If Jun remembers that afternoon, he couldn’t stand himself from crying. His 5 years old daughter was crushed by a motorbike rider when she walked out from her school, as always Jun would pick her up fifteen minutes before, but that afternoon, he was a little bit late.
When he arrived there, he felt that he died along with his little girl. Need few glasses of water and endless whisper from Ohno and his family to wake him up from his blank minded. He cried until he felt there’s no more tear come from his eyes, he blamed himself that his daughter’s death was his fault.
Jun wiped his head once again with the towel in his hand, Ohno usually return around 10, but tonight he’s late, he lets his door unlocked and closed his eyes, need very long time before the sleepy feeling hit him.
When his eyes fluttered open, he found that he was under the blanket, his wet T-shirt is nowhere to be seen, he turned his head aside, saw Ohno is in the balcony, he’s busy talking on the phone. Jun blinked few times and decided to join him there. He waited until Ohno finished talking.
“You came home late again,” Jun commented, he took a few deep breath, the morning breeze bite his bare skin. Ohno looked at him sharply before answering, “I have to manage many things last night, never thought that would be so late, but tonight I am free, you better wear the sweater, this cold air will make you catch cold Jun.”
Jun nodded, he followed Ohno inside, walked to his closet to take a sweater, he thought maybe it’s time for him to prepare the breakfast for both of them.
“Were you okay last night?” Ohno asked, Jun took the bread from the refrigerator, he looked at his husband and grinned.
“I was okay Satoshi.”
“No, you’re not,” Ohno walked from the sofa and stood right in front of him, “I found you sleep like that many times, like you want to make yourself uncomfortable, I told you it wasn’t your fault Jun, and I am tired of this, we fight almost every day.”
Here it is, Jun thought, the topic that make him hates Ohno, no, hates himself is the proper one, he didn’t want to look at Ohno’s face, he paid attention on the bread in his hand, split them to two parts, and moved to the refrigerator once again to take the cheese. That’s when he found Ohno’s hand on his, “We’ll move soon to a new place, let’s make the new start, together, okay?” Ohno wiped his cheek, the shorter smiled at him and Jun replied hardly. He wants to tell Ohno that he’s scared, he doesn’t want to lose Ohno after losing their daughter. He holds Ohno tight, thanked him and apologized for being stupid and selfish.
“Everything will be alright, as long as we’re together,” Ohno patted him on his back and gave a weak touch on his cheek, “Would you say yes this time? To our new life?”
Jun nodded, though he didn’t know what waits for them ahead, but he will try to face it bravely, he finished preparing the breakfast and started to pick their things to the boxes. They will move next week, and he just realized that he didn’t prepare anything. He was too busy to argue and complain to Ohno. It takes a lot of energy and attention, so for today, Jun at least can distract his mind from his sadness.
“I wonder if there’s any job which fit me in that town.” Jun threw his old shoes to the box near him, still confused whether he would throw it away or keep it.
“Why not, I went for a ride once, I found a quite big restaurant, you can be a chef there, I wish you joined me that time,” Ohno smiled at him, his sweating face glows under the afternoon sun shine.
Jun was a chef until one year and a half ago, but he quitted after the accident, he couldn’t cook any food anymore with the gloomy feeling, so he decided to resign from the restaurant where he worked for. He looked to the box in front of him, “I don’t know if I can cook again, maybe it will be better if I look for another job.”
“Take your time, I just want to see your smiling face again, the bright one,” Ohno closed the box in front of him, he stood up and placed his hands on Jun’s shoulder, “I am as sad as you are, but hey, we have each other, I am sure Sora wanted the same, she would be more suffer to see you like this.”
Jun released the shoes in his hands, he holds Ohno tight to him, he avoided his girl’s name for all these months, even in his own head, now Ohno mentioned it, enough to make him lose control and the tears run down on his cheeks. He cried to Ohno’s shoulder, this time without trying to hold his voice.
Ohno just stroke his hair and say no word, let Jun drown to his own sadness.

The time to move has come, Jun looked up to the house for the very last time before steps further, followed Ohno to their car. The rain continued since last night, make the air felt so cold and bite their skin. Jun leaned to the seat, it will be the long trip to the new town, where he hoped he can have a new life and a little bit distraction, he doesn’t know.
“Wake me up when you’re tired Satoshi.”
Ohno who just finished fasten his seatbelt in his driver seat looked at him, “It’s just five hours, I went there twice Jun, don’t worry, you can sleep as long as you want.”
“Thank you, but you still can wake me, okay.” Jun also fasten his seatbelt, he saw Ohno nodded to him before starting the engine and leave for the new town. He closed his eyes, it was rain when Sora left him, even in her funeral, every time the rain comes, he would always remember Sora, remember her smile, her little hands when she held him in delight after school.
“Jun, we are here.”
Ohno’s face looks so blur, Jun focused his sight and just realized that they already arrived at their new house.
“Satoshi, it’s great.”
He pointed the building in front of them, the house that Ohno picked for them, it looks so cozy inside with the large balcony, even larger than their old house. There were space to plant the flower at the front yard, Ohno took his hand and lead him inside.
“I’m glad that you like it.”
Jun gave Ohno a quick kiss on his lips to show how much he thanked the man for this, though he said harsh words at the first time Ohno decided to move here. They spent the rest of the day to put the households here and there and flopped at the sofa when they felt too tired to continue.
“Would you like to show me around when you have enough time?” Jun asked, he got good first impression to this small town and perhaps he will be able to live normally here, just like the city they just left.
“Sure, I’ll show you, there are many places that I don’t know yet, we can go there together, sound good right?” Ohno took the bottle of the mineral water and handed it to Jun.
“We have so many times,” Jun took the bottle and thanked Ohno, they decided to stop for that day and will continue tomorrow.
However, Ohno is too busy with his job, he left the house early in the morning and return late at night, there’s no time for them to go outside together, even though Ohno has day off at the weekend, he would need that time to take a rest because he looked extremely tired. Seeing that condition, Jun just stay at home all day, he went to the nearest flower shop and bought some plants to be planted in the garden.
The supermarket is quite far from their house, he has to ride his bicycle for almost 30 minutes to reach it. Along the way, Jun can enjoy the fresh air, the sun shine so bright that day. He wiped the sweat in his forehead when he finally arrived at the supermarket to buy the monthly groceries. He parked his bicycle and walked with high spirit, this is his first time to buy things here, wonder what kind of things that he can buy here.
He took the trolley and started to search for the daily needs, he read the sign-board and decided to buy milk first. He saw a young mother carrying a little girl on her trolley, the laughing voice of the girl can be heard clearly. If only Sora was still alive, Jun shook his head, blocked his own mind from the memories, he finished the milk session and move to another part, this time he saw a young man with the big amount of groceries in his trolley, yet he still check his note for more things.
Jun walked to the meat stand, he managed to take the last one, maybe Ohno would love to eat yakiniku after a long time, but when he almost reach it, the young man had took it before him.
“Hey, that’s my meat!”
Jun tried to take it back. The man gripped it on his arm, as if it’s the most precious thing he had ever known.
“Today is the meat day, I just remember, the kids would be sad if it’s cancelled.” The man answered, still holding the meat in his arm.
“But I found it first, now give it to me!” Jun made the annoying expression, but it didn’t change the fact that the man would take that last meat with him.
“Aiba kun, we got more donation for the orphanage,” one of the supermarket employee approached them, she glanced at Jun a bit and turned his attention to the man in front of Jun who smiled happily as he heard what the woman said.
“Really? That’s great, thank you so much.”
“Please send my regard to all of the kids, I think I’ll visit this weekend,” the woman said again, Jun was so curious that he forgot he didn’t finish his shopping yet. He listened to their conversation until the woman realized his presence and she suddenly talk to him.
“I never saw you before, you must be new here.”
“Mmm, y-yes, I just moved here,” Jun stammered, managed to go away from here as fast as he can, but before he could do that, the young man say, “I am sorry about the meat, but if it’s for the orphan, you have to say yes, right.”
“You should tell me earlier.” Jun murmured, the guilty feeling hit him for seconds.
He left them behind, he made a note inside his head that he doesn’t want to be involved in the same condition. He finished his shopping and pushed his trolley to the cashier, what he saw made his head burn once again. There’s only one cashier and the line was long enough, with the full trolley for each customer, Jun thought that he has to wait for an hour here.
“Hi, we meet again,” the same young man wave at him, Jun grinned to hide his dislike towards the situation.
“Isn’t it weird that this supermarket only have one cashier in this floor?” Jun protested, didn’t try to lower his voice.
“Usually we have two, but it seems the other employee is sick today.” The man answered with the light tone, Jun frowned, glanced to his watch, he wanted to be home soon, Ohno would be home earlier today, he wanted to be there as soon as possible.
“You’ll get used to it,” the man counted something on his trolley and sighed, “I forgot Nino’s order,” he murmured to himself.
“Mmmm can you keep my trolley please? There’s something I forgot, I’ll be back as fast as I can, please please please.”
Jun sighed again, he has a feeling that even he denied, this man would still pursue him until he say yes, so he nodded weakly.
“Thanks,” the man ran to certain corner, looking for something that he forgot. Jun looked down to the trolley, that man bought everything, including the shocks for the children around five years old. The tall man came back just in time before his turn, he brought the simple apron in his hand, Jun held his wanting to ask and when he already finished the payment, he brought all of his things to his bicycle, never expect that the tall figure approached him.
“Thanks for your help Sir, my name is Aiba Masaki, I work at the orphanage, the only one orphanage in this town, from your face I guess you love children, I’ll be so glad if you come to visit.”
Because Jun was too confused to reply, so he just gave a nod to the man, with the last cheerful smile, that Aiba walked to his own trolley and pushed it further.
Jun backed to his own riding, pedaling it home, he found Ohno’s car was already at the garage, he wanted to talk with Ohno tonight, and maybe he can cook something delicious for them. With those thoughts, he stepped to his house, opened the door and found his beloved man welcomed him with the tight hug.

Hi~
It’s been a while since the last time I wrote a series ^_________^
I hope it’s not awful, tell me what you think, XDDD
And I’m afraid the English was messy this time because my nee-chan is so busy (feel sorry for her) so I asked her not to force herself to read and repair my story, so sorry if you found many mistakes here. English is not my language after all. So I think this series will close this year, I’ll post next chapter on January……
